With Le Chat qui Pense, Pascal Hofmann and Benny Jaberg present a sensitive portrait of the Swiss filmmaker Daniel Schmid. The film traces his life from his childhood in Flims to his international career as a film and opera director, weaving together archive footage, film extracts and memories from friends and collaborators to create a richly layered portrait of his life and work.

This moving documentary is a tribute to an extraordinary artist whose work left a lasting mark on Swiss cinema far beyond the country's borders.
