Panoramic high-altitude hike: Crap Sogn Gion – Fuorcla – Nagens
Beautiful alpine hike across open alpine terrain. Spectacular panoramic views. Take the gondola from the valley station in Laax to the starting point. Once you reach Crap Sogn Gion, the trail leads you up and down towards Crest la Siala,
then to Fuorcla, Camona Vorab and finally to the Nagens Sud mountain station.
Hiking time: 3.3 hours, approx. 8.6 km, ascent/descent 414 m/444 m
Meeting point: Laax Bergbahnen post bus stop at 9.12 a.m. with the hiking guide with a flag. Post bus from Flims Waldhaus/Caumasse at 9.06 a.m.
Return: approx. 3 p.m. Flims mountain railway station
Requirements: mountain experience, sure-footedness, no fear of heights.
Equipment: Hiking boots with treaded soles, seat pad, windbreaker/rain gear, sun protection, hiking poles recommended
Food: Bring your own from your rucksack.
Cost: CHF 35 plus day ticket for Flims/Laax mountain railways, available at reception for CHF 35.
